Mariam from Gaza

A letter to the world on International Women's Day

Tell me honestly

How do you expect someone to stay sane and safe when there is a whole army of child and women killers and rapers just a few miles away?

How do you expect someone to stay normal when their people are starving and dying on the other side of the Strip just a few miles away?

How do you expect someone to sleep properly when their sky is full of warplanes, and drones flying and bombing civilian houses non-stop?

How do you expect someone to stay healthy and energetic when they can't afford to buy meat, fruits, vegetables, supplements, and medicine?

How do you expect someone to survive when they simply can't find a safe place because there isn't any?

How do you expect someone to leave the Gaza Strip when Egypt is not allowing them to do so and the only way is to pay a bribe of 5000$ which is impossible to afford?

How do you expect someone to be happy and alive when every day one of their family members or friends gets killed or wounded?

This is an e-letter to the world to read, I hope you archive it like you archived the Auschwitz letters.
