Hanaa Fanoun

Hanaa Fanoun is a Palestinian artist studying Design and Applied Art at Palestine Technical University Kadoorie, Al-Arroub. She is originally from the Palestinian village of Nahalin near Bethlehem. Hanna discovered her passion and talent for art when she was 13 years old when she tried to draw a portrait of a singer for a National newspaper. This helped her enter the world of art and design. She emphasises that everyone at home and in her local community supported and encouraged her to carry on with drawing so she decided to study art. She hopes one day she will be able to present Palestine in international art exhibitions.
