Despite my great desire to cling to the threads of hope until the end...

Despite my complete conviction, and despite the fact that the matter is complicated in my heart, these ordeals will end, God willing,

and become bad memories in a world that I believe will be more beautiful.

Despite all these things, there is no escape from fear and anxiety,

not for ourselves, but for the people we love, for the people we truly care about,

for those who were and will be a lamp, to illuminate the darkness of the heart

and the darkness of days!
