Shaima' Farouki is a Palestinian artist born in Jerusalem, currently living in Palestine. She is a graduate of Friends School and holds a Bachelor degree from Birzeit University in Journalism and Social Science. Her work has been exhibited within Palestine and internationally. Shaima’ works as an art teacher and in introducting art to children with disabilities. She has illustrated several children’s books, including a book of folk tales for UNESCO.
