Iron Shield

i have to let this go put down

my burden if i want free hands

to help the wounded help

myself get off the cloverleaf interchange

blame and counterclaim abstain no brain

no god rains bombs on half a land

of children

this is vengeance never gains were made

on corpses suffer the little children

see the men pin decorations

on each others chests focus the spotlight

on themselves

the shoah flits like an imp shines

magnesium lamps in blinded eyes

catastrophe landscapes ecumenical life

the dried out husk to words that string like beads

on the internet abacus of

he said he said they did they did

suffer the little

children time to die
