Bisan is creator of “Tell Lab,” a youth platform to train young people, particularly women, on advocacy, content creation, and community leadership and works with civil society organizations as a trainer on community leadership, gender, youth, climate change and advocacy.

Yesterday, a star said to the little light in my heart, We are not just transients passing.

Most of my artworks address humanitarian issues, specifically the ongoing suffering of the Palestinians and the Palestinian cause.

It is day 141 of this endless war on Gaza. I reached to a point where I feel that every [thing] I am doing is worthless and useless.

I am a Palestinian artist who was born in Damascus, Syria 1969. I pursued my passion for art at Damascus University, Faculty of Fine Arts.

Bisan Owda is a videographer, film-maker, photographer, storyteller, community activist, content creator and trainer from Gaza, Palestine.

Hanna discovered her passion and talent for art when she was 13 years old when she tried to draw a portrait of a singer for a National newspaper.

“I want to become a doctor, like those who treat us, so that I can treat other children,” Dunia said. “I only want one thing: For the war to end.”

There are many roots. War machines are coin-operated arcade games, and your penny sprays and juvenile plays are just as greedy as a bulldozer's mouth chewing life into debris for me to dish-wash and make poetry of.

How do you expect someone to stay sane and safe when there is a whole army of child and women killers and rapers just a few miles away?
